The Department of Zilla Parishad, Balangir is inviting applications from interested candidates for engagement of Aspirational Block Fellow in two Aspirational Blocks (Punitala and Gudvella Block) of Balangir district under the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP), NITI Ayog, Govt of India.

Educational Qualification – Post Graduation in any discipline (Preference will be given to the candidates who have completed higher education in the Development/Rural stream).
Age – Minimum 23 and Maximum 45 years as of 01/01/2024.
Salary – Rs 55,000 per month plus a maximum of Rs 5,000 per month travel allowance
Tenure – 01 years or as desired by NITI Ayog

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on a Computer Knowledge Test and Personal Interview.

–> Computer Knowledge Test – 50 marks

Those candidates who will secure at least 30 marks in the Computer Knowledge Test will be advanced to Personal Interview.

–> Personal Interview – 50 marks

Note – Eligible candidates will be called for a Computer Knowledge Test and Personal Interview on 12/09/2024 at Zilla Parishad, Balangir from 11:00 AM onwards.

Documents produced by the candidates at the time of the Computer Knowledge Test and personal interview are as follows:

Academic certificates and experience certificates (if any) along with the application form in the prescribed format.
Selected candidates have to produce 02 character certificates from two different Gazetted Officers at the time of document verification.

How to Apply?

Interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can send the duly filled application form along with supporting documents to the “CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Balangir, Odisha-767001” by registered/speed post from 09/08/2024 to 31/08/2024 (05:00 PM). The envelope of the application form should be superscribed with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASPIRATIONAL BLOCK FELLOW“.

The following documents need to be attached to the application form:

Self-attested photocopy of all educational qualifications and Mark sheets.
Work experience certificate/Training certificate (if any).
Computer certificate (if any).

Terms and Conditions of Aspirational Block Fellow Recruitment

Date of Birth specified in the High School Certificate or equivalent certificate issued by the Competence Board/Council will only be considered.
Preference will be given to the candidates belonging to the Balangir district.
Candidates need to paste their recent passport-size photo at the specified place and need to put their signature on the application form.
Application received from registered/speed post will only be accepted.
Selection of candidates will be done by the Selection Committee under the Chairmanship of Collector-cum-CEO, Zilla Parishad, Balangir on 06/09/2024.
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be taken forward and candidates who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria will be rejected.
Lists of shortlisted candidates and rejected candidates with reason will be published on the Balangir district website on 06/09/2024.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Computer Knowledge Test and Personal Interview on 12/09/2024 at Zilla Parishad, Balangir from 11:00 AM onwards.
Applications that will reach after the last date will be rejected.
No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates appearing for the Computer Knowledge Test and Personal Interview.
