Educational Qualification

The candidates should have

For Clinical Departments (Speciality) – MD/MS/DNB or equivalent degree in the concerned discipline applied for or as prescribed by OMES Rule/NMC in ‘Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022’ notified or amended from time to time in force.
For Superspeciality Discipline – DM/M.Ch degree in the concerned department.
completed the tenure as Senior Resident in any Govt. Medical College of the State.

Age Limit – less than 45 years (as of 12/02/2025).

Educational Qualification

The candidates should have

MBBS degree or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC.
completed the compulsory one-year rotating Internship.
registered their Medical Qualification at the Central/State Medical Council (Permanent Registration).

Selection Procedure

The selection will be based on career marks. The weightage of different examinations is as follows:

HSC/Matriculation – 20% of the total percentage of marks secured.
Intermediate science – 20% of the total percentage of marks secured.
MBBS/M.Sc examination – 60% of the total percentage of marks secured.

Note – The candidate securing more marks in MBBS/M.Sc. will be placed in the higher rank. In case two or more candidates secure the same marks, the candidate older in age will be given priority above the younger in the selection list.
