Educational Requirements for GRS Recruitment 2024 Kalahandi

The candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent as notified from time to time by CHSE, Odisha.
He/She has computer proficiency at the “O” level and uses the Odia language on computers.
He/She can speak, read, and write Odia fluently and must have
- passed the Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject or
- Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as a medium of examination in non-language subjects or
- Passed in Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class VII or above or
- Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department.

Salary for Gram Rojgar Sevak (GRS) Recruitment 2024 Kalahandi

The selected candidates as Gram Rojgar Sevak (GRS) will get Rs 7,000 per month for the 1st year, Rs 8,500 per month for less than 06 years, and Rs 8,880 after 06 years.

Age for Gram Rojgar Sevak (GRS) Recruitment 2024 Kalahandi

The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 40 years as of 01/09/2024.

The category-wise upper-age relaxation will be as follows:

5 years for the candidates from SC/ST/SEBC/Women Category.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on marks obtained in 10+2 or its equivalent examination. Marks obtained in the 4th optional subject will not be considered.

If two or more candidates secure the same marks without the 4th optional in 10+2 or its equivalent examination, the candidate older in age as per date of birth in the HSC Certificate will be given priority above the younger in the selection list. Furthermore, if the age of two or more candidates is the same, the candidate who has passed the HSC examination earlier will be placed above the other in the selection list.

Note: Computer proficiency is only qualifying in nature and will not count for determining the order of merit.

Terms and Conditions for Gram Rojgar Sevak Recruitment

Must be an Indian citizen.
He/She should be of good character & in sound health and must be free from any physical defect.
He/She must have not more than one spouse living.
The candidates must be a resident of the same district only for which he/she is applying.
The post of Gram Rojgar Sevak (GRS), Kalahandi will be purely contractual and engagement will be for 01 year initially. The contract may be extended further on satisfactory performance and recommendation of the concerned BDO. This contract may be renewed for another 01 year by the Collector-cum-DPC, Zilla Parishad.
The Zilla Parishad (ZP) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without giving any reasons.
Applications from interested candidates will only be accepted in the prescribed format through Speed Post/Registered Post. Applications in other formats or other means will not be accepted.
The authority will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss of application in transit.
The Collector-Cum-CEO, Zilla Parishad will execute an agreement with the selected Gram Rojgar Sevak in Non-judicial stamp paper and issue an engagement order (Contractual and co-terminus with the scheme).
If any fraudulent testimonial is detected in the future or if he/she has been criminally prosecuted the engagement will be canceled without giving any notice and proper action will be taken against him/her as per the provision of law.
The GRS will form a “District Cadre” post.
