Educational Qualification for Scientist

The candidates should have Post-Graduate Degree in Science/B.E. from reputed University.

Additional Qualification for Scientist

The candidates should have P.G. Diploma in Remote Sensing & GIS or Geo-informatics or related fields for Resource Scientists.

Experience Required for Scientist Recruitment

The candidates should have

For Scientist ‘C’ – Minimum 05 years experience in their respective domains/reputed fields in any Govt./PSU as on the date of publication/intimation of the letter
For Scientist ‘D’ – Minimum 07 years of experience in their respective domains/reputed fields in any Govt./PSU as on the date of publication/intimation of the letter.

Salary for Scientist

After selection, the candidates will get salary

For Scientist ‘C’ – Pay Matrix Level-12 under ORSP Rules 2017, Under 7th Pay Commission.
For Scientist ‘D’ – Pay Matrix Level-13 under ORSP Rules 2017, Under 7th Pay Commission.

The fees for different categories are as follows:

SEBC – No Fees
SC – No Fees
ST – No Fees

Selection Process

Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the interview which will be by the Selection Committee constituted for the purpose.
